INITIAL DISCLOSURE DOCUMENT.

The Financial Conduct Authority, otherwise known as the FCA, is the independent regulatory body to companies that provide financial services in the UK. The FCA requires us to provide you with an Initial Disclosure Document to help you make an informed decision and ensure that the service we offer is suitable for you. This document will provide you with information on the products and services we offer, what we charge for the services we provide, how we are regulated, what to do if you have a complaint, as well as information on the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

ABOUT TRAILERTEK NI LTD

Trailertek NI Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Our Firm Reference Number is 954196. We hold permissions for the following activities – credit brokerage.

Our principle place of business is 36 Bowens Lane, Lurgan, Co. Armagh BT66 7JA. Trailertek NI Ltd is a credit broker, not a lender.

 

THE PRODUCTS WE USE

As an FCA regulated credit broker, we will introduce you to a lender capable of funding your trailer. We will receive a fee for introducing you to a lender should you enter into an agreement. Should you wish for the sum of any fee to be disclosed, we will do so upon receipt of request in writing.

 

THE SERVICES WE PROVIDE

We offer Hire Purchase from one lender;  Northridge Finance. All products that we offer are related to the purchase of a trailer. We do not fund any credit contracts. Instead, all credit applications are introduced to the third-party lender. 


WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT.

If you have a complaint you should let us know by writing to us at: Trailertek NI Ltd, 36 Bowens Lane, Lurgan BT66 7JA sending it for the attention of our Complaints Manager – Clive Latimer. Alternatively, you can phone us or you can send an email to finance@trailertek.net. We will deal with your complaint as quickly as we can. It is possible that as part of our investigations we may need to ask you for more information. We will keep you informed of our investigations and you will not have to wait any longer than eight weeks to hear the outcome of our review. 

If you disagree with our decision you may be entitled to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. You may be entitled to compensation if we are unable to meet our obligations to you. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme us the UK’s statutory fund of last resort for customers of authorised financial services firms. This means that it can pay compensation if a firm is unable to pay claims against it.
